Located on the waterfront near Canada Place, Fairmont Pacific Rim offers incredible views across the harbor to the North Shore Mountains. This ultramodern five star hotel near Vancouver cruise port is one of the best luxury hotels in the city. There are quite a few first class hotels that are within four or five blocks, within walking distance, or a short inexpensive taxi ride away from the cruise docks. I took a Harbour Air pontoon plane tour of Vancouver after breakfast and returned to the hotel in time for a coffee and a fresh scone before check-out.
